Marketing
Unlike consulting
and marketing firms, Windward Instruments does not simply
throw advertising money at the market in an attempt to saturate the
media. Likewise, we do not promise "overnight success", as this process
can be very time consuming, and is dependent upon the "mood" of the
market and many other factors.
We look
for partnerships which are specific to
the product, are more cost effective, and get exposure based on the
merits of your product, and customer needs.
Many of
our services require no up front fee,
and may be obtained by email agreement, which is followed by a more
formal written agreement upon completion of our initial assessment.
This allows consultation to begin almost immediately, without placing
an undue burden on the client.
New Product Introduction
Proper
introduction
of your product to the U. S. market will require commitments. We advise
all clients to be prepared to provide any or all of the following:
- Be
prepared to
make a 2-3 year commitment
- Samples
of your
product to Windward Instruments,
and prospective
customers as needed
(non-returnable).
- A
trade price list
in U. S. Dollars if your product is imported
- Printed technical and
advertising
materials, and/or catalogs
- Hi resolution digital
pictures
- Initial stock of your
product for our
retail division
- Advertising and service
fees if you
require a media "blitz" style campaign
